Terms and Conditions
By engaging in the recruitment services, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully.
1. Service Engagement
All hiring requests are reviewed before approval. Clients are expected to provide accurate information. Requests that raise red flags or appear unserious may be declined.
2. Service Types
- Basic Service:Provides access to Maha’s pre-vetted talent pool. Clients receive shortlisted candidates that match the requirements submitted. The success-based placement fee applies upon successful selection.
- Premium Service: A dedicated, tailored search conducted specifically to meet the Client’s defined requirements. An engagement (retainer) fee is required prior to commencement of the search. Upon successful selection of a candidate, the standard success-based placement fee applies. Any engagement fee paid shall be credited toward the final placement fee. Engagement fees are non-refundable.
3. Client Obligations
- Provide complete and accurate job descriptions and requirements.
- Participate in interviews and selection processes as scheduled.
- Cannot circumvent the platform to engage or hire talent offline once recruitment has commenced.
4. Replacement Policy
Replacements are provided based on the original reasons for a candidate’s departure. Replacement requests cannot be based on new requirements. Premium searches are conducted once per role for replacement purposes.
5. Termination
- The Company may terminate the engagement if it discovers misrepresentation, cultural issues, or reputational risks with the client.
- The client may terminate if services are not delivered according to agreed terms.
6. Confidentiality & Ownership
All candidate information, resumes, and assessments are confidential and remain the property of the Company or the respective candidate. Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality.
7. Liability & Indemnity
The Company acts as an intermediary and is not liable for candidates’ actions, performance, or decisions made by the client. Both parties indemnify each other against claims arising from breaches of this agreement.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
